Following our initial story on allegations involving Mr. Onyeka Nwelue, two developments have occured.

Mr Emeka Ikoro [the centerpiece of the story] has revealed WhatsApp texts he says are from Onyeka where he appears unremorseful and further blamed Emeka for going public with the story, stating:
“the people cheering you, will not help you”;
“if you don’t call me after, I will know you are unserious”

A Japanese immigration lawyer now appears to be looking into the claims and has reached out to Mr. Festus Ohalete [one of the alleged/potential victims]
